WhereToPost

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 2, 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using WhereToPost. The service is a pre-posting guidance tool. It does not replace your own judgment or the rules of Reddit and individual subreddits.

Acceptance

By using WhereToPost, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What The Service Does

WhereToPost is a pre-posting workspace. It reviews product information against a limited set of community evidence, suggests a promotion path, and helps you save daily tasks, rule checks, drafts, and optional completion history.

The public Reddit Shadowban Detector checks whether a username has a visible public profile, an explicit public suspension signal, or no public profile result. It does not access private Reddit account state or explain every account, subreddit, post, or comment restriction.

Product and task planning uses deterministic checks. The public post generator and eligible Workspace promotion-draft editor can send a user-triggered draft request to WhereToPost's configured AI provider. The separate free browser extension sends draft requests directly to the provider selected by its user. None of these surfaces automatically post or promise that Reddit will accept a post.

Accounts

  • Google sign-in is used to create and access your WhereToPost account.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account and browser session secure.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your WhereToPost account is being used without permission.

Guidance Is Informational

  • A community match, task, draft, account check, or report is guidance, not legal, marketing, or platform-compliance advice.
  • We do not guarantee Reddit approval, subreddit acceptance, traffic, sales, comments, upvotes, or account safety.
  • Reddit rules, account requirements, source data, and moderator decisions can change at any time.
  • A community-rule guide only summarizes rule text returned by an available source. It does not prove that the source is complete, that the rules have not changed, that a promotion thread exists, or that your Reddit account may post.

Reddit Account Inputs And Public Checks

  • You are responsible for entering the Reddit username or profile link you want checked and for confirming it is correct.
  • We do not verify who owns the Reddit account you enter. If you enter the wrong account, the results may describe someone else's public activity, and you are responsible for that input error.
  • Saving a Reddit username does not start a recent account-history scan. Recent posts, comments, and external-link activity are not required for the task plan.
  • The public Shadowban Detector may send the username you submit to a public Reddit profile endpoint and, when that direct server-side read is blocked, to TikHub for the same limited public profile facts.
  • A missing public profile is not proof of why an account is unavailable. It can be consistent with a shadowban, a deleted or renamed account, a username error, or incomplete public data. Compare the result with Reddit's signed-in and logged-out views and use Reddit's official appeal process when appropriate.
  • A separate limited internal owner beta may refresh public profile facts through TikHub. It does not scan recent account activity, is not a general account-monitoring feature, and is not proof of account eligibility.
  • Public-data sources can miss, delay, or remove information. An empty result does not prove that an account has no activity.
  • WhereToPost does not record whether you publish a post, automatically discover published posts, or monitor published posts after you open Reddit.
  • Previously saved comment links may continue to receive limited public-status checks during their retained monitoring window. A delayed or empty source result does not prove that a comment was removed.
  • A WhereToPost account check is not proof that Reddit will allow a post. You must use Reddit's own posting page and checks before publishing.

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for following Reddit rules and each subreddit rule before posting.
  • Do not submit illegal, harmful, private, abusive, deceptive, or spam content.
  • Do not use WhereToPost to bypass moderation, scrape aggressively, automate spam, or hide your founder, maker, or business affiliation.

No Reddit Affiliation

WhereToPost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Reddit.

No Auto-Posting

  • We do not post to Reddit on your behalf.
  • We do not comment, vote, message, or manage Reddit accounts.
  • We do not ask for your Reddit password.

Browser Extension And Your AI Provider

  • You are responsible for the AI provider account, API key, model, endpoint, usage limits, and charges you configure in the free browser extension.
  • Only connect an API endpoint you trust. A custom endpoint receives the Reddit context, optional product facts, and API credential that the extension sends to it.
  • AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for a community. You must review and edit every draft and check the current subreddit rules before manually posting.
  • WhereToPost does not guarantee that every provider permits browser-based requests or that a provider, model, endpoint, price, or data policy will remain available.
  • The community-rule guide sends only the subreddit name to WhereToPost. It does not use your AI provider key or analyze your product, account, post body, or draft. You must still open Reddit and confirm the current rules and posting page.
  • The public post generator sends the facts and options you submit, plus public website facts you ask it to read, to WhereToPost and its disclosed configured AI provider. Reddit post URL context is currently paused; remove that URL to continue without it. Its latest anonymous draft stays in that browser for up to 24 hours unless you actively save it to Workspace. Workspace rechecks an imported idea before it can become a promotion task.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not abuse, overload, scan, or attack the service.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, URL protections, or security controls.
  • Do not submit URLs or content intended to access private networks or systems.

Paid Plans And Billing

  • WhereToPost currently offers Monthly and Lifetime paid plans. The product, price, renewal terms, taxes, and included access shown at checkout are the terms for that purchase.
  • The payment provider shown at checkout processes the purchase. Paid access is added after WhereToPost receives a successful signed payment confirmation.
  • A Lifetime plan means access for as long as the WhereToPost paid product is operated, subject to these Terms and the limits shown at checkout. It does not promise that every feature will remain unchanged forever.
  • For billing, cancellation, or refund questions, contact support@wheretopost.com. Any mandatory rights under applicable law still apply.
  • Deleting a project or stopping use of the workspace does not by itself cancel or refund a paid plan.

Your Content And Feedback

You keep responsibility for the product information, drafts, notes, links, and other material you submit. You give us permission to process that material only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve WhereToPost without payment or attribution, as long as we do not publicly identify you without permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service as the product evolves.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WhereToPost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service or your Reddit posting decisions.

Suspension And Ending Use

You may stop using WhereToPost at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product changes. The effective date above shows when this version became active.
