WhereToPost

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 26, 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using WhereToPost. The service is a pre-posting guidance tool. It does not replace your own judgment or the rules of Reddit and individual subreddits.

Acceptance

By using WhereToPost, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What The Service Does

WhereToPost is a pre-posting workspace. It reviews product information against a limited set of community evidence, suggests a promotion path, and helps you save daily tasks, rule checks, drafts, and outcomes.

The current website workspace uses deterministic product and task logic. The separate free browser extension can create a user-triggered draft through an AI provider selected and paid by that user, and can show a deterministic guide from available public community rules and limited moderator-maintained community information. Neither surface is an automatic posting service or a promise that Reddit will accept a post.

Accounts

  • Google sign-in is used to create and access your WhereToPost account.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account and browser session secure.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your WhereToPost account is being used without permission.

Guidance Is Informational

  • A community match, task, draft, account check, or report is guidance, not legal, marketing, or platform-compliance advice.
  • We do not guarantee Reddit approval, subreddit acceptance, traffic, sales, comments, upvotes, or account safety.
  • Reddit rules, account requirements, source data, and moderator decisions can change at any time.
  • A community-rule guide only summarizes rule text returned by an available source. It does not prove that the source is complete, that the rules have not changed, that a promotion thread exists, or that your Reddit account may post.

Reddit Account Inputs And Public Checks

  • You are responsible for entering the Reddit username or profile link you want checked and for confirming it is correct.
  • We do not verify who owns the Reddit account you enter. If you enter the wrong account, the results may describe someone else's public activity, and you are responsible for that input error.
  • Saving a Reddit username may start an automatic public-data check. Recent public activity may be checked about once a day, slower-changing profile facts may be checked less often, and an older result may be refreshed before a planned Reddit check.
  • Public-data sources can miss, delay, or remove information. An empty result does not prove that an account has no activity.
  • After an allowed Reddit check, automatic discovery only searches the saved username's recent public posts in the planned subreddit for a limited 24-hour window. It may miss or delay a post, and multiple possible matches may require your confirmation.
  • After a direct post or comment link is matched or saved, monitoring checks that public link. A delayed or empty source result does not prove that a post or comment was removed, and monitoring may not find every interaction immediately.
  • A WhereToPost account check is not proof that Reddit will allow a post. You must use Reddit's own posting page and checks before publishing.

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for following Reddit rules and each subreddit rule before posting.
  • Do not submit illegal, harmful, private, abusive, deceptive, or spam content.
  • Do not use WhereToPost to bypass moderation, scrape aggressively, automate spam, or hide your founder, maker, or business affiliation.

No Reddit Affiliation

WhereToPost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Reddit.

No Auto-Posting

  • We do not post to Reddit on your behalf.
  • We do not comment, vote, message, or manage Reddit accounts.
  • We do not ask for your Reddit password.

Browser Extension And Your AI Provider

  • You are responsible for the AI provider account, API key, model, endpoint, usage limits, and charges you configure in the free browser extension.
  • Only connect an API endpoint you trust. A custom endpoint receives the Reddit context, optional product facts, and API credential that the extension sends to it.
  • AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for a community. You must review and edit every draft and check the current subreddit rules before manually posting.
  • WhereToPost does not guarantee that every provider permits browser-based requests or that a provider, model, endpoint, price, or data policy will remain available.
  • The community-rule guide sends only the subreddit name to WhereToPost. It does not use your AI provider key or analyze your product, account, post body, or draft. You must still open Reddit and confirm the current rules and posting page.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not abuse, overload, scan, or attack the service.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, URL protections, or security controls.
  • Do not submit URLs or content intended to access private networks or systems.

Paid Plans And Billing

  • WhereToPost currently offers Monthly and Lifetime paid plans. The product, price, renewal terms, taxes, and included access shown at checkout are the terms for that purchase.
  • Creem provides checkout and acts as the merchant of record for purchases. Paid access is added after WhereToPost receives a successful payment confirmation.
  • A Lifetime plan means access for as long as the WhereToPost paid product is operated, subject to these Terms and the limits shown at checkout. It does not promise that every feature will remain unchanged forever.
  • For billing, cancellation, or refund questions, contact support@wheretopost.com. Any mandatory rights under applicable law still apply.
  • Deleting a project or stopping use of the workspace does not by itself cancel or refund a paid plan.

Your Content And Feedback

You keep responsibility for the product information, drafts, notes, links, and other material you submit. You give us permission to process that material only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve WhereToPost without payment or attribution, as long as we do not publicly identify you without permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service as the product evolves.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WhereToPost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service or your Reddit posting decisions.

Suspension And Ending Use

You may stop using WhereToPost at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product changes. The effective date above shows when this version became active.
