Every community example gets a checked date
Community rules can change without notice. Each example names the subreddit, links to the public Reddit source, and records when the source was opened. Before publishing, readers should reopen the current community rules, pinned posts, recurring threads, and Reddit composer.
Observation and conclusion stay separate
The example first states only what the public source shows. The takeaway then explains the conservative next move. We do not turn an available Link button into promotion permission, a designated thread into approval for every post, or one removal notice into a universal cause.
We also do not claim that a WhereToPost check proves account eligibility, moderator approval, future visibility, or safety. Reddit's native composer and the target community remain the final places to check.
What we leave unknown
- Private moderator notes, hidden filters, and unpublished thresholds.
- Removed text that is no longer visible from the public permalink.
- Whether a future draft, domain, account, or post will be accepted.
- Any rule or outcome that cannot be opened from a current primary source.
Corrections and updates
If a linked source has changed or an article overstates what the source proves, send the page URL, the source URL, and the specific sentence to correct. We will recheck the primary source and update the article or mark the point as unknown.
